Before I met this adorable family for their spring photo session, L's mama told me that he often looks like he's in pain in photos and doesn't enjoy being photographed in general. As soon as I met them, he showed me (and my camera) a different side of himself. We had so much fun exploring the gardens at Magnuson Park, starting with the children's garden and its huge whale sculpture. After a while, L needed to get some wiggles out, so we took time to take some photos of mom and dad together--a rare treat for parents with small children!

There are many wonderful spots for a photo session in Warren G. Magnuson Park in Seattle. The P-Patch is magical many times throughout the year with its meandering paths and blooming plants, including wildflowers (lupine!) in the spring.
