When my stylist recently mentioned that she and her family hadn't had professional photos taken before, I jumped at the chance to capture them! She and her husband have a busy toddler, so we met early on a Sunday to explore Hamlin Park. We followed her son's lead...when he wanted snacks, he had snacks. When he wanted a binky, he had a binky. Letting kids be kids is key with family photography! The resulting images are adorable and show his curious nature--is there anything better? And, pro tip, if your toddler needs a break from the camera, there might just be time to squeeze in headshots!
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Hamlin Park is a heavily wooded park in Shoreline, just north of Seattle. Its secluded nature feels very private and, as a result, it's rarely busy. There are many trails to explore for hikers of all levels. Dogs are welcome, too!
